Folded Flight

In collaboration with fashion and textiles designer Charlotte Taylor http://charlotte-taylor.blogspot.com/ my first third year collection was based on Japan. The ideas from my prints stemmed from origami birds and other paper folding and crumpling. I used screen printing, digital printing, devore and embroidery to create my final collection of 15 designs. These are a few of my favourites!

Aurora

These are a couple of snaps from my enterprise year at the University of Portsmouth. My group created a business and made six unique jackets. I mainly worked on the printing of the jackets (my favourite!) as well as the finishings. They were created for the travelling girl with an eye for unique, one off items, much like us! We had a lot of fun shooting at the beach on the Isle of White this day, they came out great but in fact it was freezing! We still managed to brave going in the sea though.
