So i've been making mini buildings out of mount board to make a little city! It's slightly tedious so i just started photographing some of the buildings by themselves and i really liked the inside of this one! Its hard to believe its only 40cm tall in the photos which i really love! The light just happened to come through the little window holes really well and now I'm playing around with it in photoshop for some dramatic creepy effects!

Screen Print

So these are my first screen prints of this project! for my first screen i made one design for the colour of the windows and another for the buildings in the front. I also played with marble effects using my main colours. They stand out well printed on black.

Light it Up

I haven't posted for a little bit! been gathering inspiration for more FMP stuff, so have lots of things to post I'm very excited! firstly these are a few more pictures i've taken using my slow shutter speed experimenting with light. I went and stood on a motorway bridge over the M3, firstly they looked quite generic but i'd like to play with them and see what i can do! The last couple are a bit nuts but i like it.

Pop Up!

Still looking at buildings for my FMP. I've started to experiment with 3D techniques such as these pop up designs! It's a very simple technique but it works well with my work so ill see where it takes me

Developing on from just looking at buildings into researching the city and in particular night time. I played with the shutter speed on my camera whilst taking photos in Brighton, and created some light designs on photoshop!

Skyscrapers!

A few snaps from my primary research for my latest work! I've had a lot of fun layering up buildings and playing with sky lines using copper wire.
